Zion Skate Plaza Grand Opening

Join SF Skate Club this Saturday, June 28th at the grand opening of ZION SKATE PLAZA (formerly Waller Skate Park) at 750 Stanyan Street from 1pm - 5pm.

We’re proud to celebrate this special moment with our community as San Francisco officially renames Waller Skate Park in honor of Zion Williams Gaines—a beloved member of SF Skate Club whose legacy continues to shape and inspire us.

Zion first joined our community as a middle schooler through our EduSkate After School Program. He quickly became known not just for his incredible talent on a skateboard, but for his kindness, creativity, and unshakable spirit. Even in the face of unimaginable challenges, Zion showed us what perseverance and heart truly look like. He is someone we will always remember in all we do.
