Recap: Cycling Fundraiser 2026

"The SF Skate Club Cycling Fundraiser was another smashing success! On the day of the ride, we rode with alumni, parents, neighbors, students, along with current and former staff members. We enjoyed beautiful weather on our ride through Golden Gate Park on our way to Fort Miley. Upon arrival, Shawn and Michael had prepared a robust BBQ for everyone to enjoy. Seeing so many people from different parts of our community at Fort Miley felt like a physical manifestation of all the effort we put into this fundraiser!

By the numbers, we had over 50 individual donors (most of them new to the SFSC community), exceeded our fundraising goal, and secured a generous donor match from ❤️The Little Giant Lighting and Grip❤️ that ultimately provided $8,000 to our program. These funds will go directly back to our students in the form of scholarships, after school programming, art workshops, and field trips.
