19 Shredding Summers

Summer. It’s got so many ways to be measured.

How hot it was?

How many days before the start of school?

How much water has AI consumed from your summer swimming hole?

And of course, how many tricks did you learn and how much higher is your ollie?

As skateboarders, these are the only important metrics to us. When you are young, time passes so slowly and it’s hard to see your own growth. This summer, we had the chance to not only witness this growth firsthand but to have the pleasure of fostering these achievements, and hundreds of mini-advancements, sharing insights and tips in supportive ways.

This summer, for ten weeks, we did what we’ve done for the last 19 summers - provided quality programs and an environment that creates the opportunity to explore new things at any level and still feel confident. A place where it is okay not having the answers but also not knowing the questions.

We supported Low Key with their epic Back to the Plaza 3 Skate Festival at UN Plaza along with many friends. Be sure to peep the photos. 

Thanks to YaddaMeanZ, we co-hosted a Back to School Party at Zion Plaza where we offered free school supplies and ice cream to youth and families in honor of Zion Williams-Gaines. 

THUY DAY 2026

We celebrated the unforgettable and ever-inspiring Thuy Nguyen's birthday at SF Skate Club this year. We loved seeing all the friends and family stop by to share lovely memories and sentiments.
