This semester of EduSkate is flying by. We can't say we're surprised, though. We know that's what happens when your days are filled with friends, homework, skating, field trips, and celebrations.
EduSkate After School Program brightens our space each weekday with talented, caring, and creative middle and high school students. We are feeling inspired by all of our collaboration and growth together so far this school year.
Some highlights of this semester include:
Our Indigenous People's Day field trip to view historic murals in the Mission, followed by skating and enjoying eats from a taqueria
Celebrating the new school year with our Fall Open House and Art Show
Carving pumpkins and decorating our space for Halloween and Día de los Muertos
Weekly skate outings to spots such as SOMA, 3rd and Army, Sunset Dunes, and Brisbane
Iron Chef cooking challenges on Tuesdays with special guests, including Chef Lotus
Vending SF Skate Club merch at the Taraval Art Trot
Visiting the de Young Museum over Fall Break to view the Art of Manga exhibition

We want to give a special shoutout to our youth and alumni volunteers this semester:
