Recently, the students of the EduSkate After School Program had the exciting opportunity to meet José Vadi. During his visit to SF Skate Club, he shared his new book with us, Chipped: Writing From a Skateboarder's Lens, and insights into his journey as an author and skater, inspiring the students to explore their own creativity and writing skills. José led students through a creative writing workshop and encouraged students to express themselves through their own narratives. We learned about finding inspiration in everyday life, and how to observe our surroundings and draw from our experiences.
