EduSkate is a youth outreach and after school program that is fiscally sponsored by Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Our mission is to utilize the creativity and unifying power of skateboarding to develop and facilitate meaningful and transformative experiences for children and youth.
The EduSkate After School Program at the SF Skate Club Hub provides homework support, arts enrichment, food, social and emotional learning, and mentoring for middle and high school students, Monday through Friday, from 2:00pm - 6:30pm.
Your donations ensure that we can offer FREE tuition for up to 20 students a month for our after school program. We believe in opening our doors to students in the city without imposing any social economical barriers.
We are a small but mighty team at EduSkate with big hearts. We invest our whole selves into our programming to provide a dynamic and an enriching space for youth in San Francisco. Our community makes this space and these programs possible. We thrive because of community members like you who see the value in what we do and show up to support EduSkate and SF Skate Club in incredible ways.
Programming we offer EduSkate students:
taking field trips to the SFMOMA, MoAD, the Asian Art Museum, the Letterform Archive, the ICA and other local art establishments
making our annual year book zines
creative cooking on our Iron Chef days
Monday discussions where we unpack global and personal topics as a group
enhancing skateboarding skills together at local skate parks
homework support and tutoring
mentoring
creative projects and crafting days
photography and videography skill building
learning how to operate a retail skate shop
Thank you sincerely for your support! We are filled with gratitude each day while serving the youth and community of San Francisco.
